PREPARE YOUR MANUFACTURING PLANT OR FACILITY BEFORE A CORPORATE VIDEO

Prepare your Manufacturing plant or facility before a corporate video

It isn’t a walk in a park to create a Manufacturing Corporate Video which shows off your cutting edge abilities and simplifies complex processes.

Manufacturing Corporate Videos are not standard corporate videos but rather have a goal of creatively and informatively showcasing the industrial capabilities of the concerned manufacturing industry.

There are several factors that must be taken care of every time a corporate video is being shot. Manufacturing Industry Videos have at least a few requirements without which they are neither standard nor acceptable. Accuracy, Aesthetics and Creativity are the highlights of a good corporate film and to achieve these there are certain pre-requisites.

The most important Pre-requisites of a Manufacturing Corporate Video are:

  1. Briefing of Workers and Cooperation:

The workers who are working in the facility and in the factory along with management team must be briefed about the shoot beforehand so as to smoothly complete shooting in a short period of team. They also have to cooperate with the production crew so that your desired output can be created.

  1. Clean Equipment:

All of the equipment which will appear in the video has to be spic and span otherwise it destroys your professional value. No one wants to see greasy, blackened equipment churning out products. It makes it seem as if your industrial process is sub-par and old. The look of this video will cast a negative image of you in your client’s eyes and confuse them on whether they should invest in you or not.

  1. All Workers Must be In Standard Uniform:

The workers have to be in standard uniform and dress as is required by the authorities. It also gives much smarter look to your corporate video when everyone is in matching uniform. Uniforms have dual advantages of being both organized and professional looking along with protecting the hygiene of the worker and product.

  1. Everyone must be in Personal Protective Equipment(PPE):

Manufacturing work often requires people to come in contact with risky factors like heavy machinery and powerful machines. For one’s own safety it is a standard rule that all the people have to be in Personal Protective equipment. Safety Helmets, Goggles, gloves, high visibility clothing, etc are all expected to be worn by most employees and it is expected to be shown in manufacturing industry videos.

  1. There must be minimum Obstructions:

A clear cut view of every important machinery and process must be provided in order to really shoot the video in a proper way. The Gangway, Dispatch must be cleared of unnecessary obstructions and so that nothing comes in the way of the client’s understanding of your capabilities.

  1. Standard Operating Procedure Must be Followed:

Standard Operating Procedures have been designed in order to maximize efficiency keeping in mind the safety of the workers. This has to be portrayed in the video in order to set an example to both the clients and future employees. No shortcuts which compromise quality or safety can be shown as they will lead to wrong impressions and may compromise safety later on as well. If the wrong procedure is shown it may dilute the message of the corporate video as well.
